RESEARCH AREA AND TEAM
Dr. Yue is a professor in the School of Civil Engineering, Qingdao University of Technology. His research focuses on the durability of concrete and the multipurpose use of solid waste. Solid waste such as ore tailings has been widely used as binder or aggregate in concrete. As the traditional experimental methods cannot describe effect mechanisms at the atomic level. The computational chemistry method also has been used in the research. Dr. Yue induced the first-principle and ab-initial molecular dynamics methods to investigate the hydration process, corrosion inhibition, and many other fields.
Any students have a strong interest in new things (a little knowledge about material science, chemistry, or computer science is better) are welcome.
